A frog jumped in the pond one day…to chat about craft, life, kids and other stuff inside her head.

I like ideas and creativity, knitting and sewing, designing and making. This is my show and tell.

Hope you are getting through the mess of heat and fire – lots of coverage here in the US about the fires.

On Large, you said something about pants that fit. Try to find an ISLANDER system book or article – I also took a class in September on making pants that fit – there is a worksheet with extensive measuring detailed, which are then translated into a flat pattern. I made one pattern off of the original measurements and was quite happy with it – just a few little adjustments, like dart placement, to do. If you can’t find, let me know and I’d be happy to send to you.

Getting through and listening to many stories. I think we’ll hear even more as the kids get home from school.

Thanks for the fitting tip – I’ve stalled on the trousers because I felt I was going round in circles. I’ll look for the ISLANDER system since it sounds particularly helpful.
